ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Anatomy & Physiology.
We offer an online home study course on A&P £125 (or only £99 when booked with this course). CLICK HERE for A&P Course Details.
On completion of this course you will be:
- entitled to add the letters “G.T.T. Dip. (name of course)” after your name.
- qualified in your chosen therapy, enabling you to practice professionally.
- confident and have in depth knowledge of your chosen subject.
- able to gain insurance, therefore being covered to charge clients’ money for treatments. You will be introduced to recommended insurer details in the course. (It is your responsibility to gain suitable insurance, or to check with your current insurer that they cover your chosen therapy. It is advised that non UK residents check course suitablity for the country they wish to practise in.)
COURSE FORMAT:
- Pre-course home study . On enrolling you will receive your online login to comprehensive study material. (See below for contents - Segment 2)
- Day 1 attendance. The day will be spent on intensive practical training, with supervised/guided practical, students practising on each other.
- Case studies. Case studies give you the chance to put into practice what you have learnt before practicing on the public. They also assist you in memorizing the routine, perfecting your technique, as well as giving you the opportunity to reflect and practice professional development. 15 are required, that is 5 treatments on 3 different people (or 3 treatments on 5 different people).
- Day 2 attendance. (around 8 weeks later) The day will be spent discussing case studies, reflecting and revising, with a supervised/guided practical in the afternoon and a short multiple choice questionaire. By the end of the day you will be confident to give the full treatment, to a competent standard.

Lesson 1: What is Reflexology? Reflexology is the technique of manipulating reflex points that correspond to specific organs and body parts found within the feet and hands. |
Lesson 2: Anatomy Basics Knowing how and why the body functions and how to encourage circulation and healing is a major goal of reflexology. |
Lesson 3: Understanding Reflexology Charts Understanding the precise locations of key reflex areas or points to work on is essential to effective treatments. Several charts that display aspects of both hand and foot zones and reflex areas are offered in this lesson. |
Lesson 4: Zones and Techniques The study of reflexology divides the body into energy zones, five of each located on each side of the body. |
Lesson 5: Reflexology and Common Ailments There's a difference between a massage that one enjoys in a spa for relief from muscle strain caused by stress, overwork or hard play and the manipulation on energy zones, nerve and lymph pathways accessed during a reflexology treatment |
Lesson 6: Full Hand Reflexology We will now discuss and practice basics of full hand reflexology, as well as a deeper insight into the workings of the specific body systems and some of their common disorders. |
